TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payments
We accept both cash and EFT (electronic Fund Transfers).
We accept credit or debit cards.
EFT payments are to be transferred 2 days prior to your booking and are also accepted on the same day as your services.
Any late payments may be conducted a late payment notice.
Failing to pay your overdue amount will be taken into further matter.
Cancellations
We understand situations may arise in which you cancel your appointment. It is therefore requested that for bridal bookings which are cancelled or changed within 12 months & colour bookings that are cancelled within 24hrs, where we can not reschedule the booking, may be subjected to forfeit their deposit.
If you decide to cancel your booking but you also have upcoming bookings, the deposit paid for the initial booking does not get credited to your other bookings. The deposit gets forfeited (deposits are non-transferable).
Clients who are absent without a call to cancel will be considered as absence. This may be subjected to a $100.00 cancellation fee or forfeit their deposit.
Clients who cancel more than three (3) times or more within 12 months, may be dismissed from Beyond Hair - Justine Maggio services.
Changes to the Booking
The date, location, time and number of people of the booking cannot always be changed once the booking is confirmed. If changes occur, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee the change.
- Removing people from the quotation within 60 days of the booking date, you will be required to pay in full from what we agreed upon in the original quotation. If additional people or services are added during your booking, charges may apply.
- A second Hairstylist may be factored in the quotation, please be mindful, that any changes may also affect them also.
- Location changes can lead to further travel time, accommodation and additional costs that may be applicable.
Booking Fee & Deposits
A booking fee or deposit is to ensure that your booking date is held and secured.
If your deposit has not been received by Justine we cannot guarantee that your date will be secured.
All deposits and payments are non-negotiable, non-refundable and non-transferable.
Deposits are to be received within 3 days of the quotation sent.
Bridal Booking deposit of $300.00 is required.
Event Hairstyling deposit of $100.00 is required.
Regular Hair services (cuts/colours) deposit of $40.00 is required.
Travel Fee
Travel Fee may be applicable to all bookings within Sydney and beyond.
Travel Fees:
Within 1.5 hours - $50.00 - $250.00
Within 2.5 hours - $250.00 - $450.00
3 hours or more - $500.00 +
Other Fees (that may be applicable) & Interstate Charges
Any other out of pocket expenses such as parking fees, second assistance, accommodation costs, flight & luggage fees or hair extensions, etc. are additional and may be applicable to all services.
Parking fees are required to be arranged by the client on or prior to arrival.
If you are staying at a hotel, parking is required to be arranged at hotel’s parking space or an alternate parking within 200m walking distance. It is crucial to allow easy access to the location in consideration of large and heavy equipment.
Assistant/Second Hairstylist fees may be required during the time of booking.
Assistant Fee/Second Hairstylist Fee - FROM $250.00.
An additional travel free may be applicable to each additional artist employed by us.
Accommodation will be required for weddings more than a 2.5 hour travel.
Destination weddings more than 3 hour travel requires a min. flat rate of $1,000.00.
Interstate accommodation will require a min. of 2 nights.
Please note that Justine will only travel out of NSW for 4 or more people.
Unfortunately, we do not supply Hair extensions. You are welcome to provide your own. A $15.00 surcharge will incur per person as this will take up additional time to style. All Buns & Sponging are provided by us, at no additional charge.
Public Holiday & Out of Hour Surcharge
We are aware that everyone works specific hours. We try to accommodate everyone’s needs as best as we can. If you wish to have your hair done on a public holiday or out of hour time slot, a 10% surcharge may incur.
Unfortunately, we do not perform evening services.
Covid19 or other Illness Policy
If you are feeling unwell at any stage before your appointment, please advise us ASAP and we are more than happy to reschedule another date.
Please be aware we are entering your homes and we want you to feel as safe as possible. As we are around kids, elderly and others, we advise that you please be respectful.
If you wish for us to wear a mask or have any other requests upon arrival, please advise us and we will respect your wishes.
Wedding/Event Cancellations & Deposits due to Covid19 Pandemic
If Covid19 pandemic ‘lockdown’ has affected your wedding/event and you have already sent us your deposit, your deposit will be credited to you to use for your rescheduled wedding/event. If you do not wish to reschedule or you do not agree to use the credited deposit for another date, you forfeit your deposit.
Refunds & Redo’s
We do not issue refunds. However, should you have any concerns or are not satisfied about the service we have provided, please notify us asap.
If we agree on a particular style, and you request a new hairstyle due to change of mind, an additional cost will be applicable. Keep in mind, it may be time we don’t counter for or taking up another person’s time slot.
We will take full responsibility if the application was poorly delivered. Please notify us with 48 hours of service completion and we will do our best to find a solution. However, any change of minds or additional services, will be charged accordingly.
Children’s hair, Male cuts & Elderly Services
As much as we love to accommodate for all, unfortunately we are very limited to equipment and we may not be able to perform our services thoroughly. Due to safety precautions, we are only able to perform children hair services in additional to an adult/female service. Unfortunately, we do not perform male hair services.
We do not provide a hair basin, which may limit elderly services.
Recommendations
As much as we absolutely love to recommend other hairstylists, we have had to make it part of our policy that we are unable to recommend others. Keeping it on a professional level, sometimes we have been criticized for other hairstylists cancelling on our clients, not turning up or not responding to their enquires. Beyond Hair - Justine Maggio will not take any responsibility of other hairstylists or other businesses. We focus on making our own business professional and efficient for each of our clients as best as we can.
Social Media
Any photos taken by a member of Beyond Hair - Justine Maggio may be published on social media pages and website. We may also share photos from professional photographers from social media. Please notify us if you do not want them published. We respect your wishes.
