We secure our Bridal & Event bookings over the weekends.
Bridal bookings on request during the week.
Unfortunately, we don’t work evenings.
Do I need to book a trial? If so, when should we book it? Where are you located?
Booking a trial is all personal preference.
Trials are usually booked 3 - 4 months prior to your wedding/event date and are booked for a time slot of 2 hours.
We are a freelance hairstylist, so we travel to where you are located.
The reason why we do trials, is to have the opportunity to get to know you and your hair before your big day. We get the chance to use different products and appliances to see what works best with your hair. We speak about your colour & cutting preferences, headpiece, veil and the preparing of the bridal party’s needs.
How much notice do I need to book an appointment?
We prefer at least 3 weeks notice, but not guaranteed. If you know the date of your event, please advise us ASAP. Weekends do get pretty booked up months in advance, but you may get lucky.

Do you have an Assistant/Second Hairstylist?
This will depend on the number of people in the booking and the time you need to be ready by. Our assistants are organised by us.
- If you have more than 6 people in the booking, then Justine will definitely require an assistant or a second hairstylist.
- If there are less than 6 people, Justine is able to perform on her own, unless an assistant is requested by the bride/organiser.
- If timing is limited to an early finish, an assistant or second hairstylist will also be required.
Assistants are required to help prep the hair.
Second Hairstylists are required to style hair alongside of Justine.
Assistant/Second Hairstylist fee - $250.00

Can you please give me a quote over the phone?
We prefer you to fill out the enquiry form online. This will provide us with all the information we will need for the day and to send over your personalised quotation. We also prefer to have all discussions in written responses rather than verbal.
How long will you need to allow per person?
Roughly 45mins - 1 hour per person.
Do you supply Hair extensions?
No hair extensions are supplied by us. You are welcome to provide your own, a $15.00 surcharge will incur per person as this will take up additional time to style.
All Buns & Sponging are provided, free of charge.
When should I wash my hair? Do you prefer it clean or dirty?
We require your hair to be washed the day/night before.
Unless, you are having a blowdry only.
Everyone’s hair is different and may require different instructions when prepping. If you are unsure, please feel free to ask.
How To Wash:
Step 1: Shampoo and scrub your hair/scalp twice.
Step 2: Condition the hair on the ends only, and rinse out thoroughly.
Step 3: A light blow dry is totally fine. *Please do not use any products or other heat appliances such as straightener or curling wands.
Do I need to set up any other equipment before you arrive?
Not at all. A low-back chair, table and a wide space is absolutely perfect!
COLOURS
Where are you located? Are you mobile or located in salon?
For all regular hairdressing services, we are a mobile hair service located from Macarthur Region to Liverpool (basically all suburbs along Camden Valley Way).
What days do you work? Do you work evenings?
Unfortunately, we don’t work evenings.
At this stage, we are open on the following days:
Sunday: 9:00am - 2:00pm (upon request)
Wednesday - Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Can you please quote over the phone?
We don’t do phone consults, but we can give you a rough estimate if you share photos of what your hair currently looks like and inspiration photos of what you’d like to achieve. This gives me a rough idea on what you need to get done.
How do I book an appointment?
Please head over to the ‘hair services’ page and fill out the enquiry form.
Eventually, we will have an online booking system.
Do I need to pay a deposit for my booking?
Yes, we do take deposits to ensure your booking is secured and confirmed.
Regular Hair Service Bookings - $40.00
All deposits, are taking off the total amount due.
Please see T&C’s for more info.
What happens if I’m not happy with my hair after the service is completed?
We always like to ensure you are always happy with the service we provide. We take all responsibility if application was done poorly and we will do our best to find a solution. Should you have any concerns or are not satisfied about the service, please notify us asap or within 48 hours after completion.
*Please see T&C’s for more info.
How long does my colour take?
Timing varies due to what your hair needs.
For example, if you are only getting a full tint, Haircut & Blow dry, it may take around 1.5 - 2 hours, but if you were having a balayage or colour correction, this could be between 4-6 hours. It really just depends on what you need done and, of course, thickness and length of your hair plays a part in it too.
How do you rinse the colour?
Unfortunately, we are limited to basins. Being a mobile service, we like to think of it as more of a convenience than a luxury service. A quick rinse under the basin, or a quick rinse in the shower. All our clients are happy to wash it off themselves.
Do you do Hair extensions?
No, Unfortunately, we don’t.
Should I wash my hair before a colour?
It isn’t necessary to wash the hair before a colour, but it’s also not great to have it too dirty either.
When a colour is applied to freshly washed hair, it could cause sensitivity due to the follicles in the scalp being open. You’re natural oils actually produce some protection around the follicle. But if the hair is too dirty, the oils that protect the hair shafts, can cause the colour to slip, therefore could end up being translucent (not completely covered).
Do I need to set up any other equipment before you arrive?
Not at all. A low-back chair, table and a wide space is absolutely perfect!
What do you do whilst waiting for a colour to process?
A sip of tea or coffee is always appreciated. We sit, we chat, we laugh.. and by the time you know it, time passes.
We appreciate you have read our FAQs.
